The economy has tanked in too many places to count.  Regions that were prospering as well as those being left behind in the pre-covid economy are now working to gain or re-gain their footing.  Meanwhile, higher education is experiencing a massive re-set as concerns linger about in-person contact, drawing into question fundamental questions about the value of these expensive institutions.  A potential solution?  Partnerships that bring together the tremendous assets – intellectual, technical, capital – of colleges and universities with regional economic interests to catalyze new opportunities for regions and higher education.  We wrote a set of articles about our experience with one such partnership.  Here is the final installment, which outlines lessons that might be applied now to other places.
